Used as part of an upgrade process to determine whether
more than one user is logged on to an application.
Overview
When a new release is first opened an upgrade process
may make changes to the structure of the Microsoft Access
database application. Before performing the upgrade the
application will use msldbusr.dll to check that there
are no other users logged on to the application at the
same time.
Download the file by clicking the download link
(above) for your version of Windows Operating System
and save the file to your hard disk.
Double-click the msldbusr_Win2000.exe (Windows 2000
operating system).
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete
the installation. The installation location for Windows
2000 is C:\WINNT\SYSTEM.
MORE INFORMATION
The dynamic link library Msldbusr.dll contains functions
that enable you to do the following:
View all computers that have logged into a database
since the .ldb file was created.
View only computers that are currently logged into
a database.
View computers that are causing a database file
to be corrupted.
View the count of computers logged into a database.
